Welcome to
St James Malden
We are a welcoming church community in Malden, bringing people of all ages together to explore faith, build friendships, and make a difference.
Who we are?
We are a progressive, friendly and inclusive parish, welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities as we worship God together in a prayerful and caring community. We value each person’s experience, and we try to learn from one another.
St James, with its church halls, is multicultural in nature, with Korean and South-East Asian communities. Our worship is Anglo-Catholic in nature, but open to renewal and we are delighted that our church family includes members from all Christian convictions.
We work to provide our congregation with rich theological and spiritual support through sermons, talks and courses and with a plentiful mix of community activities and events. We are fortunate to have a superb mixed adult/ junior choir of all ages who sing music from the whole choral repertoire spanning centuries and genres.
